Give Me a Chance empowers low-income women by teaching marketable skills & providing opportunities that lead to self-sufficiency, while also enriching children's lives through education.
After-School Program
Students in grades K-6 receive free after-school help with homework difficulties, and participate in fun learning activities such as science experiments, music, art, & more.
Sewing, Quilting, Alterations
Those who wish to learn quilting, sewing, and alterations can start with our classes. Women can learn how to make their own quilts, as well as sew clothes and create patterns. A variety of beginner and advanced classes are offered.
Music Classes
Women & children have the opportunity to learn how to play the accordion, piano, or guitar. Age requirements: Accordion 8 years of age and older; Piano 8 years of age and older; Guitar 10 years of age and older.
ESL Learning
Give Me A Chance offers English As A Second Language (ESL) classes to women who are Non-English speaking or limited in speaking English.
Computer Literacy
The Computer Literacy classes teaches students who have access to digital resources & personal computers how to use them to their full potential.
Summer Camp
Give Me A Chance provides a program to help students in grades K-6 with their education and enrichment, even when school is out for the Summer.
